ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Clean and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, and public areas of the hotel.
Provide Room Attendant's clean linens and remove soiled linen from rooms.
Clean and maintain the appearance of the surrounding areas of the hotel, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance and alley.
Deep cleaning of assigned areas of the hotel including the shampooing of rooms and public areas, window washing.
Clean and maintain the back of the house area, including the employee break room, the changing rooms, the hotel laundry room, the compactor area, and the employee restroom.
Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
Return lost items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a "lost and found" item with the date, where it was found, description of the item, and finders name
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
Must be able to lift 25 - 30 pounds on a continuous basis and clean 16 guest rooms daily.
Maintain 7 acres of property grounds. Prunning, trimming trees and flower beds/planters, Mowing grass. Planting and watering plants and all other assigned task.
Guest calls, interior and exterior building repairs. 3 or more years of maintenance experience (construction or maintenance background). Skilled in using power tools. Good people skills, friendly, helpful attitude. Rotating after-hours on call-availability. Must be able to work weekends when needed.
Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the Banquet Event Order. Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service, dessert table/carts and cordial carts. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special request to the kitchen. Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation. Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guest according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities and thank guest with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
